Keely McBride enjoyed a successful dance career for more than two decades, competing across Canada, Scotland, and Australia.

She has also performed for many special events, both nationally and internationally, including the World Championships in Athletics, the Alberta Tattoo, and the International Gathering of Scottish Highland Dance in Disneyland Paris.

As a member of the Scottish Dance Teachers’ Alliance (SDTA), Keely has taught dance to a variety of levels in Edmonton and Saskatoon. With more than 10 years of experience teaching highland, Keely’s style is to “sweat it out!”

Whether the class is beginners or Provincial champions, she enjoys providing a challenging and fun environment for her each of her students’ to excel.

Keely continues to take classes to stay active and keep a fresh perspective on dance.

Outside of dance, Keely has a master of Public Health, and works with the Government of Alberta.

She has a passion for community, and can be found at a variety of local events, live music, or volunteering.
