Ashley was born in Edmonton where she started dancing at Marr Mac at the age of 9. She trained and competed in contemporary, lyrical, musical theater, jazz, and ballet. Ashley has danced and choreographed for pre-professional companies, including Three-Point Dance Company, Romero Dance Collective, and Motives Dance & Fitness. She started her teaching journey by volunteering as a student assistant at Marr Mac in 2018 and quickly developed her love for teaching.

In addition to dance, Ashley has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental and Conservation Sciences, a Certificate in Sustainability, and a Certificate in Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies at the University of Alberta. She is currently in her second year of her Master of Science degree in Environmental Sociology. She is very excited to share her passion for dance and be a part of the next generation’s dance journey!
